Coventry City Football Club is an English club from Coventry in the West Midlands, founded on 13 August 1883 as Singers FC by workers at a bicycle factory. It plays at the Coventry Building Society Arena, a ground of 32,609 places, and competes in the Premier League after promotion. The club won the FA Cup in 1987 and spent 34 consecutive seasons in the top flight until 2001. It plays in sky blue and is nicknamed the Sky Blues.
