FC Famalicão is a Portuguese football club from Vila Nova de Famalicão in the north of the country, founded on 21 August 1931. It plays at the Estádio Municipal 22 de Junho, a ground of 5,186 places, and competes in the Primeira Liga. The club returned to the top flight in 2019 after an absence of more than four decades and led the table early in that season, one of the surprises of recent Portuguese football. It plays in white and blue and is nicknamed Os Famalicenses.
