FC Midtjylland is a Danish football club from Herning and Ikast in western Jutland, formed on 2 February 1999 out of a merger of the two towns' clubs. It plays at the MCH Arena, a ground of 12,055 places, and competes in the Superliga. The club has won several Danish championships since 2015 and reached the Champions League group stage in 2020. It plays in black and red. It was among the first clubs in Europe to build its recruitment around data analysis.
