FC Twente is a Dutch football club from Enschede in Overijssel, formed on 1 July 1965 by the merger of Sportclub Enschede and Enschedese Boys. It plays at De Grolsch Veste, a ground of about 30,200 places, and competes in the Eredivisie. Twente won the national championship in 2010 under Steve McClaren and the KNVB Cup three times, and reached the UEFA Cup final in 1975. It plays in red and white. Its women's team is the most successful in the Netherlands.
