FC Utrecht is a Dutch football club from Utrecht, formed on 1 July 1970 out of three of the city's clubs. It plays at Stadion Galgenwaard, a ground of 23,750 places, and competes in the Eredivisie. The club has won the KNVB Cup three times, most recently in 2004, and is a regular in the European play-offs. It plays in red and white. Its Bunnikside stand has a reputation as one of the loudest in the country, and the club has never been relegated from the Eredivisie.
