Heracles Almelo is a Dutch football club from Almelo in Overijssel, founded on 3 May 1903. It plays at the Asito Stadion, a ground of 12,080 places, and drops to the Eerste Divisie for the 2026/27 season after relegation. The club won the national championship twice, in 1927 and 1941, in the era before professional football, and reached the KNVB Cup final in 2012. It plays in black and white. Its ground was the first in the Netherlands built for an artificial pitch, in 1999.
