HNK Gorica is a Croatian football club from Velika Gorica just south of Zagreb, formed on 16 July 2009 out of a merger of two local clubs. It plays at the Gradski stadion, a ground of 8,000 places, and competes in the Croatian Football League, which it reached in 2018. It plays in white and blue. Velika Gorica is effectively a suburb of the capital, and the club has held its place in the top flight against much older opposition.
