IFK Göteborg is a Swedish football club from Gothenburg, founded on 4 October 1904. It plays at Gamla Ullevi, a ground of 18,454 places, and competes in Allsvenskan. The club has won eighteen Swedish championships and is the only Nordic side to have won a European trophy, taking the UEFA Cup in 1982 and again in 1987. It plays in blue and white and is known as Blåvitt. Its 1982 side beat Hamburg in the final with a squad of part-time players.
