Levante UD is a Spanish football club from Valencia, founded on 6 September 1909. It plays at the Estadi Ciutat de València, a ground of 26,354 places, and competes in La Liga. The club has moved between the top two divisions for the past two decades and is the older of the two clubs in the city. It plays in blue and red and is nicknamed Granotes, the Frogs, after the marshy ground its first pitch stood on.
