MFK Dukla Banská Bystrica is a Slovak football club from Banská Bystrica in the centre of the country, founded on 1 July 1965 as an army club. It plays at the Národný atletický štadión, a ground of 7,381 places, and competes in the Slovak league. The club won the Slovak Cup in 2005 and reached the UEFA Cup. It plays in red and white. Banská Bystrica is an old mining town in the Low Tatras and the seat of the region.
