Montedio Yamagata is a Japanese football club from Tendō in Yamagata Prefecture, founded in 1984 and professional since 1999. It plays at ND Soft Stadium, a ground of about 20,300 places, and competes in the J2 League. The club reached the Emperor's Cup final in 2014. It plays in blue and orange. Montedio joins the Italian words for mountain and god, a reference to the mountain worship of the Dewa Sanzan peaks in the prefecture.
