MVV Maastricht is a Dutch football club from Maastricht in Limburg, founded on 2 April 1902. It plays at Stadion De Geusselt, a ground of 10,234 places, and competes in the Eerste Divisie, the second tier of Dutch football. The club spent long spells in the Eredivisie in the 1980s and 1990s and has played in the second division since 2000. It plays in red and white. Maastricht is the southernmost city in the Netherlands, and the club's away trips are the longest in the division.
