Örgryte IS is a Swedish sports club from Gothenburg, founded on 4 December 1887 and the oldest football club in Sweden. It plays at Gamla Ullevi, a ground of 18,416 places, and competes in the Swedish league. Örgryte won fourteen Swedish championships, twelve of them before 1928. It plays in red and blue and is known as Öis. It played the first organised football match in the country and is one of Gothenburg's three historic clubs.
