FC Rapid București is a Romanian football club from Bucharest, founded on 25 June 1923 as the club of the national railway workers. It plays at the Stadionul Rapid-Giulești, a ground of 14,048 places opened in 2022, and competes in Liga I. The club has won three Romanian championships and thirteen cups, and reached the UEFA Cup quarter-finals in 2006. It plays in claret and white and is nicknamed Giuleștenii, after the working-class district around its ground.
