Real Betis is a Spanish football club from Seville in Andalusia, founded on 12 September 1907. It plays at the Estadio Benito Villamarín, and competes in La Liga. The club won the Spanish championship in 1935 and the Copa del Rey three times, most recently in 2022, and reached the Conference League final in 2025. It plays in green and white stripes and is nicknamed Los Verdiblancos. Its derby with Sevilla is the fiercest fixture in Spanish football outside Madrid and Barcelona.
