FC Red Bull Salzburg is an Austrian football club from Salzburg, founded on 13 September 1933 as SV Austria Salzburg and renamed after Red Bull bought it in 2005. It plays at the Red Bull Arena in Wals-Siezenheim, a ground of about 30,000 places, and competes in the Austrian Bundesliga. The club has won more than fifteen league titles and reached the UEFA Cup final in 1994 under its old name. It plays in red and white. Its academy has sold a long line of players into the biggest European leagues.
