SC Cambuur is a Dutch football club from Leeuwarden, the capital of Friesland, founded on 19 June 1964. It plays at the Cambuur Stadion, a ground of about 15,000 places, and competes in the Eerste Divisie, the second tier of Dutch football. The club has moved between the two national divisions and has won the second division four times. It plays in yellow and blue. Its rivalry with Heerenveen is the Frisian derby, the most keenly followed fixture in the province.
