FC Spartak Trnava is a Slovak football club from Trnava in the west of the country, founded on 30 May 1923. It plays at the Anton Malatinský Stadium, a ground of 19,200 places, and competes in the Slovak First Football League, in which it has played more seasons than any other club. Spartak won five Czechoslovak championships between 1968 and 1973 and reached the European Cup semi-finals in 1969. It plays in red and black and is nicknamed Andeli, the Angels.
