SSC Napoli is an Italian football club from Naples in Campania, founded in 1926. It plays at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, a ground of 54,732 places, and competes in Serie A. Napoli won the Italian championship in 1987 and 1990 with Maradona and again in 2023 and 2025, and it took the UEFA Cup in 1989. It plays in sky blue and is nicknamed Gli Azzurri. Its 2023 title ended a wait of 33 years and closed the city for days.
