FC St. Gallen 1879 is a Swiss football club from St. Gallen in the east of the country, founded on 19 April 1879 and the oldest football club in continental Europe still in existence. It plays at the Kybunpark, a ground of about 20,000 places, and competes in the Super League. The club won the Swiss championship in 1904 and 2000 and the Swiss Cup twice. It plays in green and white. Its Espenblock stand is known for one of the loudest atmospheres in Switzerland.
