Vasas SC is a Hungarian football club from the 13th district of Budapest, founded on 16 March 1911 by members of the iron and metal workers' union, whose name it still carries. It plays at the Illovszky Rudolf Stadion, a ground of 5,054 places, and competes in the Hungarian league. The club has won six Hungarian championships and four cups, most of them in the 1950s and 1960s, and reached the European Cup semi-finals in 1958. It plays in red and blue.
