Vejle Boldklub is a Danish football club from Vejle in Jutland, founded on 3 May 1891 and one of the oldest in the country. It plays at Vejle Stadium, a ground of about 11,000 places, and competes in the Danish league. The club has won five Danish championships and six cups, and its academy produced Allan Simonsen, the only Dane to be named European Footballer of the Year. It plays in red and white and is nicknamed Jyllands Rubin, the Ruby of Jutland.
