Widzew Łódź is a Polish football club from Łódź, formed in 1922 and tracing its line to a workers' society of 1910. It plays at the Widzew Łódź Stadium, a ground of 18,018 places, and competes in the Ekstraklasa. The club won four Polish championships and reached the European Cup semi-finals in 1983, where it met Juventus. It plays in red and white. Zbigniew Boniek played here before moving to Turin.
