Wolverhampton Wanderers FC is an English club from Wolverhampton in the West Midlands, founded in 1877 as St Luke's and one of the twelve founder members of the Football League. It plays at Molineux, a ground of 31,750 places, and competes in the English league. Wolves won three league titles in the 1950s and the FA Cup four times. It plays in old gold and black. Its floodlit friendlies against foreign sides in the 1950s helped inspire the European Cup.
