Lyngby Boldklub is a Danish football club from Lyngby north of Copenhagen, founded in 1921. It plays at Lyngby Stadion, a ground of about 10,000 places, and competes in the Danish league. The club won the Danish championship in 1983 and 1992 and the Danish Cup three times. It plays in blue and is nicknamed De Kongeblå, the royal blues. Its title in 1992 came from a squad built almost entirely on its own youth work.
