NAC Breda is a Dutch football club from Breda in North Brabant, founded on 19 September 1912 out of a merger of two local clubs. It plays at the Rat Verlegh Stadion, a ground of about 20,500 places, and competes in the Eredivisie. The club won the national championship in 1921 and the KNVB Cup in 1973. It plays in yellow and black and is nicknamed De Parel van het Zuiden, the pearl of the south. Its ground is known for standing sections and one of the best atmospheres in the country.
