Sandvikens IF is a Swedish football club from Sandviken in Gävleborg, founded in 1912. It plays at Jernvallen, a ground of about 7,000 places, and competes in the Swedish league. The club won the Swedish championship in 1959, its only title, and has spent most of its history in the lower divisions since. It plays in red and white and is nicknamed Järngänget, the Iron Gang. Sandviken grew around the Sandvik steelworks, which the club's nicknames all point back to.
