Sanfrecce Hiroshima is a Japanese football club from Hiroshima, founded in 1938 as the works team of Toyo Kogyo, later Mazda, and a founder member of the J.League in 1993. It plays at the Edion Peace Wing, a ground of 28,520 places opened in 2024, and competes in the J1 League. The club has won the J1 title four times. It plays in purple. Sanfrecce joins the Japanese word for three with the Italian for arrows, after a local lord's parable about unity.
